Decided it was time to try something new with our Pisco Porton that would go well with the hot weather we’ve been having. We started with a basic pisco sour recipe from Epicurious.
My wife and I are not crazy about including egg whites in our cocktails so we omitted that and then started to play with the flavor profile by substituting lemon for lime and using a habanero lime simple syrup for a little sweet heat. Quite happy with the results.
- 2 oz Pisco Porton
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/4 oz Habanero Lime Syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled coupe glass
Garnish with a lime
